Usually when we here from judges, it's in the formal, sometimes scholarly, decisions
they issue from the bench. Not this time. Retired superior court judge Marie Corbett's new memoir is called "January: A Woman Judge's Season of Disillusion," and it offers a candid accounting of the struggles and trade-offs she faced as a woman sitting in judgement of others.
