Logic and Intellectuals -The myths !

Hello and welcome, My name is Don Wesley. I bring these talks in, because it seems they maybe relevant to associations we need to make.

George Lakoff is the co-founder of the Rockridge Institute, a think tank for progressive politics and public policies. His talk surveys basic findings about what human reason is really like and shows why this matters in politics. Over the past 30 years, Lakoff posits, cognitive and brain sciences have shown that human reason --instead of being conscious and logical — takes place mostly below the level of consciousness and is much more
interesting and complex than was once believed.

Be powerful and a highly sensitive person and have a marvelous life.

Hi, and welcome, my name is Don.
The following video, is a splendid lesson about goodness; which makes us great and powerful.
1)  To know all, would be God himself... it seems to me.
2)  Our minds are bigger; and when we are "conscious" we have more to think about.

3)  When we are un-conscious, we have more to dream about.
4)  The mind "can't be found" when probing in the brain.
5)  It appears to be outside;
6)  Our minds are uniquely human with one identity for each of us.
7)  The size of someone's "skull" does not correlate with intelligence.
8)  When we meditate and or fly "
out of body"
we are in heaven.
9)  It takes a lot of energy to do these types of thinking, even with the brighter light we are given to see with.

10) The word "sensitive" should be replaced by "powerfully-kind".
11) We can and do defeat the Devil and members of his team.
!2)  Now put all the above together as one "mind" and think along with me

If I were the Devil - Remember this was first broadcast in 1965

"If I were the Prince of Darkness"

Long time radio newsman/commentator Paul Harvey created the original of this homily around 1965. This one is probably from about 1996. It was updated as the years went by and therefore versions of it vary over time. It is a warning to America about its own decay.

Hi, my name is Don and I'm 81. I never read a Harry Potter Book. My soul-mate Denise, read all of them [In English] even though she is a French Canadian Lady. After 45 of Marriage she left and divorced me. She also left the Catholic faith.
So I wonder what Harry gave to her!

Harry Potter is one of the most successful publishing phenomena of our time, selling 450 million copies. Its success has transformed author JK Rowling from an impoverished single mother into one of Britain's richest women. Since The Deathly Hallows was published in 2007, Rowling's fans have been desperate to know what she was going to do next. The answer is The Casual Vacancy, a novel for adults with some very grown-up themes. The expectation and pressure are enormous.

Although most details are shrouded in secrecy, it is known to be set in the idyllic fictional English town of Pagford, where tensions gather around a local election which follows the death of a parish councillor. James Runcie meets the notoriously private writer in her hometown of Edinburgh, where she finally reveals the exact nature of the novel, with exclusive readings and in-depth discussion about its ideas, characters and inspiration. Rowling also discusses the pressure and pitfalls of following up the biggest literary phenomenon of a generation, describing how she finally moved on from Potter and the challenges of making the leap to writing fiction for adults.

Sunday, November 9

We use each other... is that ok or nasty.

Define your boundaries

Don the silent one
Dawn - the morning Sun

To live without boundaries,
Is the beginning of understanding our Soul.
This is harder than physical or mental work.
You are getting to know God

If you have no boundaries.
You need no due-processing,
when the doors are closed and tiled.
And you have no burden to carry.
Just the 1 Eye.

I'll fit you into the puzzle of reality
I'll help you if you ask, and shape you to fit,

Where you are needed for the love you reveal.
It seems to me.... you will fit most everywhere.
I'll ask God for his help.
