The Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters in Steyl

The Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters in Steyl

Not only is the habit of the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters unusual.
Whoever joins the convent says goodbye to the world forever.
The nuns can only communicate with the outside world through a
grille.

This film takes a look at the "Pink Sisters" in Steyl.

Abandoned Stable, off-grid - Becomes ....

Abandoned Stable, off-grid - Becomes

Luxurious family dream home

Uploaded on Jan 30, 2012

When Carlos Alonso and his sister Camino (partners at Madrid architecture firm Ábaton) were looking for a country home for their extended family, they stumbled upon an abandoned stable in rural Extremadura, Spain and recognized it as a special place.
High on a hill and far from city water or an electrical grid, the crumbling cow shed was far from the conventional image of luxury estate, but Carlos and Camino could envision a transformation.
This part of the province of Cáceres (near the Portuguese (border) has been home to generations of cattle ranchers and the Alonsos recognized the wisdom those who came before them.
Building on the instinctual knowledge of the ranchers before them, the Alonsos preserved much of the old stable. The old watering trough became a fountain and interior patio where water now helps cool the home in summer. The hay loft above became bedrooms. The facade is still the original stone, though given the homes crumbling state, they were forced to add cement behind it.
Without access to the grid, the Alonsos added photovoltaics and hydro power and worked to ensure the home wouldn't use much energy. The original position of the stable worked to their favor. The southern exposure allows for the sun to be the main source of heat during the winter.
The Alonsos also added large wooden shutters that slide closed like a second skin, covering the large windows at night to trap in most of the home's daily solar heat gain.
The home was located far from city water, but perfectly positioned below two streams that flow year round. Since
there is no one else above the home on the mountain, the water is pure and can be used for drinking and bathing (after a simple filter and rest period).
Grey water is purified and the water is put back to use on the property for watering the fields. On those fields,
cattle still graze.
Even local rancher José Vicente Jiménez, whose family has worked this land for generations, is still here. His cattle graze the property and he clearly is pleased the Alonsos have rescued the old stable from certain ruin.

The Agenda examines global energy poverty and how to end it.

As the 21st century enters its late teens and much of the
world has been transformed by digital technology, 1.1
billion people continue to live without access to
electricity. A further billion have unreliable access. The
United Nations has made one of its sustainable
development goals to provide reliable and modern
energy to all by 2030. Is this possible? How would it
transform lives and communities? Can global carbon
dioxide emissions targets and the need for mass
electrification be balanced? Is a clean energy
breakthrough required to meet this goal?

“The Presence and the manifestation of the Presence are not the same. There can be one without the other.
God is here when we are wholly unaware of it.
He is manifest only when we are wholly aware of His Presence.
Men do not know that God is here.
What difference it would make if they knew.
God will manifest Himself to us, and that manifestation will be the difference between a nominal Christian and a life radiant with the light of His face.”             -     A.W. TOZER

Christians do Argue too much

Christians do Argue a Lot

April 24, 2016.
You can quickly see what the Main two Hypothesis' are.
a)  The pursuit of knowing God [New]
b)  The love of Christ. [Scriptures' - Biblical]

My gift of Faith was given to me by God.
I know He lives in each of us. [Right-Brain side]
When I'm well tuned enough to meditate and catch his silent messages to all: I get the one for me to choose from.
I get His free gift of faith
This my truth of this hour - it will never change.

My opposite Christian friends  are equally certain of what the Holy Bible says - 2000 years ago.

Both of us agree God is alive.
I believe He hasn't stopped broadcasting on a YouTube 'type' of conversation. Even argue with Him - Like Job did.

Jesus was also Human... with God in Him.  Just as we are now.

He Died and went to Heaven, so more could see Him.
Those who missed Him could meditate and see Him.

Jesus was a Superb Teacher, who told us to pursue God and pray to Him. Jesus never said pray to Him.

There are few here now - 'Teachers' who are not Theologians. Your neighbor may be one of these Teachers for every grade level - a 'Mentor' free, forgiving and loving.

All our past friends are together and spiritually well off.
Some are at the Gates of Heaven.

Some friends are still with us and their confused ways create the Hell we now live in here on Earth.

Here is a Teacher and He is free

This is a powerful story about how our brains define us and connect us to the world and to one another.

A victim of a liar is a separate story ~ A liar is a liar, period.

We are all victims of Lies
I'm 83 and still a victim.
My Name is Don John Wesley
This picture was taken 10 years ago.
April 23, 2016
The super-rich seem to employ highly skilled liars.
They are so rich, so  they can afford to investigate before they hire?
I will produce another Blog story of how often I been a victim.
Two recent suppliers of what I buy everyday: Food and Cell Phone service.
Third, I also spent yesterday with a small group of self-called Christians who believe that only Jesus is one with God. I know that God lives in us; in one of the two halves of our brain. We are connected by infinite electromagnetic waves to the whole universe. Not only Jesus has the exclusive privilege of talking intimately with God.
The Book of JOB in the Holy Bible revealed this to us all at least 2000 years ago.

One Food supplier charges me 14 dollars for 1+ Liter of  Snack fluid.
While Auto gas sells for 90 cents a Liter .

This is a lesson  we need take and pass the test
before we challenge another Liar.

Truth about Liars and Lies

The author of this lesson says......

No matter how painful the truth may be, it is always best to be open and honest up front.

The origin of a liar is evil.
The goal of a liar is supposed self-protection. Although there are different kinds of pain, the intention of a liar is to cause or alleviate pain to the receiver of the lie.

People love to read and write about liars but do not enjoy direct contact with them.
Liars make good villains in a story but not lovers, relatives, friends or
acquaintances.

In reality, good people try to avoid them like the plague.

There is
no trust consequently any stability in a relationship with a liar. When identifying a liar, there is no distinction with age, sex, race and so on.

A liar is a liar, period. A victim of a liar is a separate story.

In my opinion, there are different types of liars. Although people can fall into more than one category, the divisions include:
1) The Blatant Liar,
2) The Back-stabbing Liar,
3) The White Liar,
4) The Poker-face Liar,
5) The Non-verbal Liar, and
6) The Blackguard.

A person who looks you in the eyes and speaks a lie without blinking an eye or conscience is the Blatant Liar. You obviously and automatically know this evil-
hearted person is lying because he/she chooses not to hide it in any way or form.

The back-stabbing liar is found most often in a business, especially corporate work environment. The success-climbers will resort to any means to reach the top and
usually back-stabbing is involved. The phrase 'watch your back' applies to this
arena.

Feel-good compliments or keeping the peace are the white liars. Usually the feel-good compliments are spoken by women and the keeping the peace comments come from men. Even though you may be fat and/or the color is wrong for you, a white liar will tell you that 'you look great!'

When a person masters the art of maintaining a blank look on his/her face, this is a poker-face liar. As when playing cards where the other players absolutely believe you have a good or a bad hand, in reality you have the opposite. An honest person never receives the expected from an un-expectant poker-face liar.

The most difficult lies to detect come from the non-verbal liar. First of all, the non-verbal liar firmly believes he/she is not lying because he/she did not SPEAK it aloud. This phrase applies to the liar's way of thinking, 'what she/he doesn't know, doesn't hurt her/him.' Because the victim of the liar eventually learns the truth from another source, the opposite is true and the victim is hurt deeply.

No matter how painful the truth may be, it is always best to be open and honest up front.
