Why the U.S. pays more for health care
Climate change is not in the distant future, in fact it is happening right now. The Climate Science Center (CSC) at Texas Tech University wants you to be aware of the effects headed our way. The CSC conducts interdisciplinary research to address the interactive affects of climate change across the full array of landscapes within the South Central, U.S. The CSC provides the science, tools, and information to link current conditions with regional climate projections. Using this research and information the CSC is able to anticipate, monitor, and adapt to the projected climate change.
Texas Tech's CSC is part of the South Central Climate Science Center (SC CSC). The SC CSC is a part of a network of eight regional CSCs created to provide science and tools that managers and other parties interested in land, water, wildlife, and cultural resources can use to plan for and respond to climate change.
