"We have become a society that values process over people."

To those over 80. [and respectfully all younger]
January 2014,  Day 16

"The digital technology you and I have seen grow in our lifetime, has been embedded into old organizations by the people within them and these old organizational paradigms are no longer value adding, but value destroying.

For me, from the viewpoint of a 'systems architect' our Court Justice System is not a value adding system. It destroys too much wealth. I don't believe that it can be changed from within itself. My experience from the 70's thru the 90's with large organizations revealed that only very highly talented (unique) individuals with many integrated degrees of academic knowledge can succeed in being the 'Change Master' equal to the task of moving from an 'intolerable national problem' to one of really adding value to our national Justice systems." This is a short story about military life not real. An ugly parody! & PTSD

An ugly parody!

When I was low, circa 2009,

"And in this Corner all the way From San Franciso, the Chip Wagon Champion" get the Idea.

...............................................

I'm thinking...
of starting another blog site for guys of 80 [like me] and older to have open discussions about life in general. Sort of Ted like. Any personality type is welcome, subject to some rules of order. How about Roberts Rules of Order. The round table might be virtual, with one guy in Ottawa, the other in Berlin and the narcissist in San Francisco. Starting with one episode a week. "And ...
in this Corner the Giant of talk with his mask off"...
Get the Idea. "And over here, the Reverend from Heaven." "And over here the Champion of Scientific and Dogmatic Religion"
We would talk slowly but with wisdom and no Baloney sandwich allowed.
My first topic would be "As a child and at your fathers knee, what did he teach you?"

I can even see YouTube type talking videos with close-up views where the slightness emotion can be revealed. Like "Real-London" [Take a look]
Perhaps three around one table. Just to see... the emotional reactions would be an enormous educational site. Emotions in action with serious and cogent replies to well planned questions. A little editing-out, perhaps of a snooze more 10 seconds.
What do you think? Please let me know.
