"The individual unlike the collective, contains endless mystery. Western civilization's greatest legacy is the triumph of individual rights over the collective, the common man vs. the king, equal justice, etc.
Because of the narcissistic malignant regimes that rule with their bifurcated justice systems, the rule of law itself has been shattered & more useless mouths are being shut.
Do the 'good' citizens remain borderlines & revolutionaries become more psychopathic?
The 'democratic' rulers can still command a tyranny of the majority that merely strengthens the regime's Corporatist-State (Fascists/Socialists) legitimacy---the automatized, systematized, categorized, bureaucratized State employing all legal & illegal force to maintain & manipulate their mythical 'mixed' economies under which, a relatively few of their subjects are pleased.
The nation state & their societies seem to be narcissism writ large.
