What does it mean to be a contemplative monk? What does a contemplative monk do during the day? This video explores these questions, focusing on the Trappist monks of Assumption Abbey. Assumption Abbey is a contemplative Catholic monastery in the Ozarks Mountains, near the town of Ava in Missouri, USA. Later videos in this series of videos will show interviews with some of the monks.
